Process:
Newsletter activities fall under the direction of AARST’s Public Information and Communications Committee. An editor is to be assigned. Final drafts are also to be reviewed by at least one President or Vice-President prior to publication.

Minimum Informational Content
1. AARST Contact Info: Phone, Address, Webb (Emphasize aarst.org.)
2. Membership Application
3. Call for Papers or Symposium Promo
4. Calendar of upcoming events: (Symposium, Board Meetings, Etc.)
5. Continuing Education Sources (a member service)
6. Bookstore items and price. (?order form)
7. What is available on the Web (a member service)
8. Advert rates and deadlines: Including article deadlines, CE advert policy (and Directory advert rates and deadlines when seasonally applicable)
9. List of National AARST representative assigned to region.

Minimum News Content
1. Keynote/Headline Article
2. President’s article (brief or as appropriate)
3. Secretary’s Report (Highlight summary of recent Board minutes and events)
4. All Local Chapter reports. (Upcoming meeting dates a minimum for all.)
5. Mitigation Corner and Measurement Corner
6. New Members (as appropriate)

Discretionary Content
1. Committee activitie
2. Related items such a business success guidance, etc.
3. Small fillers that are "simple words of wisdom".

DISTRIBUTION: QUARTERLY. Typically full mail list of members and non-members (approx. 2500) for calculating AARST advertisement rates.

ADVERT RATES PER PUBLICATION

Method: Advert rates depend upon distribution size and cost to print.
Though the publication is a member service, the methods for deriving rates are to be based upon making a profit for AARST.

Commitment to four publications per year receives 10% discount
